The People Behind Peli

We're Pim and Jennifer. We run Peli ourselves and are preparing our move to Aruba — and however Peli grows, your villa keeps one familiar face and is never one of many.
Our Story

Why We Started Peli

Our story started on Bonaire, twenty-one years ago. Pim had already made the island his home; Jennifer was flying in with KLM. We've been together ever since — married for thirteen of those years, with three boys to show for it — and the Caribbean never left us. It's where we feel most at home, and the reason Aruba was never a business decision. It was a place we love, long before it became the place we work.

We built Peli because we believe a villa deserves someone who knows it personally — an owner should never feel like a file, and a question should never become a ticket number. So every house and every owner at Peli is known by name: by the two of us today, and by small, fixed teams as we grow. We set the bar as high as we would for our own home, because that is exactly how we treat yours. Peli is built around one promise: your villa is never one of many.

Our Mission

To care for every home as if it were our own — giving villa owners in Aruba a presence they can rely on, personal attention and meticulous oversight, whether they are on the island or away.

Our Vision

To set a new standard for private estate management in Aruba, where service is measured by trust, personal relationships and real care — so that every owner knows their home is always in good hands.

Pim & Jennifer

Pim

Co-owner · Property, Partners & Technical Care

Pim looks after the villa itself and everyone who works on it. With more than twenty years in hospitality and foodservice — from the beach café we ran together to managing national accounts — he knows how to build relationships that last, and he is building ours with contractors, technicians and suppliers on Aruba: every one of them will be someone we meet and select ourselves before they ever set foot in your villa. He understands the technical side of a house, speaks the trades' language, and makes sure a job is done right before it's reported as done. His Caribbean chapter started years ago on Bonaire — long enough ago to know that this part of the world was never going to be just a holiday.

Jennifer

Co-owner · Guests, Interiors & Hospitality Partners

Jennifer is the reason a villa feels ready rather than merely clean. She spent nineteen years with KLM, most of them in business class, then led the sales and banqueting team at Van der Valk, headed planning and rostering at an out-of-hours GP service, and co-founded PJR Care, our own nail-polish brand — years of reading what people need before they ask. At Peli she takes care of guests and owners, shapes how a home looks and feels through Peliments, and builds our relationships with cleaners, florists, chefs and other hospitality partners on Aruba to be as personal as the service itself. She notices what others walk past: the towel that isn't folded, the light that isn't on, the welcome that could be warmer.

How We Work

Small by Choice

One Familiar Face

Quality over quantity is not a slogan for us, it's how we are organized. Every villa has one fixed point of contact who knows it as well as you do, and when Peli grows, it grows in small, fixed teams — never a pool of people you've never met. That is how we keep noticing the small things before they become big ones.

On Our Way to Aruba

Peli is in its pre-launch phase. We are preparing our permanent move to Aruba and, from the Netherlands, building a trusted local network of professionals who meet Peli's standards for quality, reliability and discretion, refining our service model and talking with villa owners, developers and real-estate professionals. Once we are on the island, we visit, check and coordinate in person.

You Reach Us Directly

No call center, no ticket number, no "someone will get back to you." You have our numbers and our WhatsApp, and when you write, one of the two of us answers. You hear back within one business day; everything is logged in My Peli so you can see it whenever you like.

Our Name

Why a Pelican

Our name comes from the pelican, a familiar sight along Aruba's coast. For centuries, the pelican has been a symbol of care and devotion: it watches over what has been entrusted to it. That is what Peli does for villa owners who can't be there themselves.
