Privacy Policy
Peli Estate Management (“Peli”, “we”, “us”) is in formation and will be established as an Aruban limited liability company (VBA). Registration details will be added once available. We are the controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@peliestatemanagement.com.
1. What data we collect
We only collect data you give us or that is needed to make the website work.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (optional) and the message you write.
- Direct contact: if you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we keep the contact details and the content of that correspondence.
- Clients: once you become a client, we hold the details needed to look after your villa — property address, access arrangements, preferences, guest information you share with us, invoices and payment records.
- Website use: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited in server logs, for security and to keep the site running. We also use Webflow Analyze, our hosting provider's analytics tool, to understand how the site is used — page views, referring sources, country and device type. This data is aggregated, is not linked to you personally and is not shared with advertisers.
2. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal (legal basis: steps prior to a contract).
- To provide our services and communicate with you as a client (performance of a contract).
- To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices (legal obligation).
- To keep the website secure (legitimate interest).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers we need to run the website and our business, and only for that purpose:
- Webflow, Inc. — website hosting and contact form processing (USA; covered by EU standard contractual clauses).
- Strato AG — email hosting (Germany).
- Vimeo, Inc. — video hosting for the clips on this site; the player is embedded in privacy mode (USA).
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland) — if you choose to message us there, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies.
- Local partners on Aruba — contractors and suppliers we coordinate for your villa receive only what they need for the job (for example the address and access time), never your full file.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Client files: for the duration of the agreement and up to 2 years afterwards, unless a longer period applies.
- Invoices and financial records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email info@peliestatemanagement.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
6. Cookies
This website uses the technical cookies needed to function, such as the language setting, and a first-party analytics cookie from Webflow Analyze that helps us understand how the site is used. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used for advertising. If you prefer not to be included, you can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work. If we introduce other cookies in the future, we will update this policy.
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Access to client files is limited to the two owners of Peli and protected by password and two-factor authentication where available. Access details for villas are stored separately from other client data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the current version.
