Dinner at the Water's Edge
Local Favorite
A table on the sand, lanterns lit at sunset — we reserve it before you land.
Some evenings ask for nothing more than a table close enough to the water to hear it. A handful of places on the island do this well: simple food, a good wine list, and the sunset doing the rest. This is the one we keep going back to.
Go for the last hour of daylight. The kitchen is at its best early, the light is at its best late, and if you time it right you get both. Order what comes off the grill that day — the menu is short for a reason — and stay for one more glass once the lanterns come on.
It is not a place for a big group or a rush. Two to six people, no agenda, and the evening takes care of itself.
How we arrange it
- Tell us the date and the number of guests, ideally a few days ahead — the water-edge tables go first.
- We reserve in your name and confirm it by e-mail.
- Prefer not to drive? We arrange a driver there and back.
We keep our recommendations deliberately few. This one has earned its place.
